Busy Week
Mom has been an absolute computer hog this week, so I haven't been able to update. Busy, busy, busy. She says she gets that from my Grandma. Last night, Mom got the boys out onto the couch for Out-Time for the first time since their illness (they are finally all better, even Dustie!). They got rice as a snack. I know because Mom got us out after putting the boys to bed, and they had saved us some of their rice. How sweet! Ember, as you could imagine, is the apple of Daddy's eye. Mom lets Ember run around on the huge computer desks in the office where she takes our pictures. Ember hopped into the Kleenex box, and Mom was ready with the camera for when Ember poked her head out again. If the camera gets a chance to focus, it takes really good pictures...
...however, Ember head-weaves to see clearly, and her sweet little face came out blurry! But I thought it was such an adorable picture that I just *had* to post it! Ash likes to run around on the coffee table, and hop into the Kleenex box there. I hopped into it once, but I still don't understand why Ash is so taken with it. Mom tries to keep her off the coffee table, but Ash will use Daddy as a bridge to get to the table because Daddy doesn't even notice when ratties are running around on him anymore! TeeHee!
Ember found some treats while scurrying around. She found a leftover tortilla chip, and later on she found a piece of forgotten beef jerky! Ember is the only one who's brave enough to climb down from our cage to a precarious-looking stack of diskettes. I guess Mom doesn't mind Ember escaping and running around the computer desks, because she doesn't have the habit of chewing on electric wiring like I do!
Mom tells me that she's getting Email about how she built the boys' and my cages. So I'm putting a link here to her Email that she's been sending to people. Get a snack, because it's long! Have a great weekend! |
