Blackie and Grey Wolf
With the holidays that humans are wont to celebrate, it seems Mom is a little busier than usual - so if things get sporadic around here I apologize in advance. As it is, I haven't updated in a week because of all the festivities. I don't understand it much, but I did enjoy the turkey bones that still had some yummy meat on them.
Speaking of the holidays, on Thanksgiving, my Mom's brother came and visited from out-of-town. I guess out-of-town means there's no bridge connecting my mom's big rat-cage to my uncle's big rat-cage, or something, because this was the first time I met him. However, it seems that Mom bragged about us ratties so much that my Uncle came over to take home two of my boys. Blackie climbed right up onto my Uncle as if he owned him, and Grey Wolf, being ever sociable, also graced my Uncle with lots of love and a couple "you're mine" marks. Blackie's behavior surprised Mom because he never seemed very sociable. Mom commented that perhaps Blackie just prefers men over women. Grey Wolf complemented the pair because Grey Wolf doesn't mind being alone - in fact, he seems to prefer it. So if my Uncle and Blackie (or whatever he names him) hit it off right away, Grey Wolf won't be put out. But my Uncle said he was going to get them both out to help clean up the sunflower seeds that rain on his computer desk while he works. He also was going to get them a cage at the first opportunity. What a life! I'm sure the boys couldn't be in better care. That's funny... after Mom tried so hard to find them good homes, then finally convinced everyone that she's going to just keep them... isn't it? |
