I know I said I wouldn't be back until Friday, but I forgot to tell you about Little Bit's Trick yesterday! Mom came home and had time to get me some pictures, and during the picture-taking process, Little Bit showed her his new Trick!

Mom got the boys' food bowls out as usual, and they started their frantic scampering around as usual. I could see everything from my aquarium, because Mom sets the boys on the bed while she's at work so they can get a little more light. When they know food is coming, they cling to the sides, making a Wall of Rats! I guess Mom thought that might make a good picture, so she took the boys into the computer room...without their food!

The boys got confused during transport and came down off the walls. But just as Mom put their cage down and aimed the camera at them, Little Bit pulled the door open!

A couple days ago, when Mom got home from work, Little Bit was asleep on top of the boys' cage. Then, right before the boys' Out-Time, Mom went to go get the boys and they were *ALL* on top of their cage, looking confused!

Little Bit is the direct liason between the boys and Mom. He's the one that always comes out of the cage first for Out-Time. He's the one that begs Mom for their snack which they get during Out-Time. Several of the other boys have become brave enough to beg Mom for a snack, but usually Little Bit is the one that pushes Mom's button (or licks her ear!) just right.

Mom has a latch on the cage. She put it there when Ash was supposed to share my new cage with me, because Mom knows just how clever Ash is. When I was in the cage, I opened the door a couple times, but I never actually escaped. The boys hadn't needed the latch - until now! TeeHee!

Oh - yes - and Mom said that if this PetCo thing works out tomorrow, tonight may be some of the boys' last night here, so some pictures were in order.
