Plan B failed miserably. Mom called that pet shop owner today, and when asked how old they are, Mom said eight weeks. The lady said that they were too old! Apparently the owner sold those two old male rats, however! But the pet shop lady just wasn't interested in the boys, saying they had no saleability because of their age. Too bad, because Mom first asked that lady if she could take them when the boys were 4 weeks old.

Now I guess we have to wait until Friday and talk to Vanessa at PetCo. Mom is getting discouraged.

Mom quickly took these pictures for me. I think that's a hint that she needs a break. If I have any news, I will post a journal entry on Friday.
