This is my frog impression. Not bad, eh?

It's a new look to go along with my photo-journal's new look! Well, what do ya think? Nothing fancy, but I hope you like it. It's a lot more FUN-looking than the old pages.

The babes have become extremely active over the past couple days. Today they were even more active than yesterday, which hardly seems possible! We had a visit from my Grandparents earlier in the day, and all the babes got to climb all over Grandma and Grandpa. That must have wound them up, because after my Grandparents left, they were zooming all over the cage like fluffy little ping-pong balls! Grandparents have a way of doing that to great-grand-ratties, don't they?

Then, after the ping-pong session, every single one of them grabbed a nearby piece of dog-biscuit and had themselves a snack! Thank goodness Mom had put more dog-biscuit chunks in my food bowl after she saw this!

The deal is, Mom is going to have to start finding homes for these little bunchkins. They will be four weeks old in 11 days. Mom's going to keep them another week after that just for proper socialization. After that there will be individual pictures available of each babe and a form for you to fill out if you want one. We live near Seatlle, Washington, but we should be able to work out shipping arrangements. Oh, if you happen to live in our state, Mom also asked me to have you drop her a note. She loves talking about Ratties with folks near us. Jeesh, I should have had her write this! I feel like her secretary!

Back to the babes!!

Recently, I have been hanging out on my upper shelf when I need a break from the babes. Now that they can see, they follow me just about anywhere - including following me to my upper shelf! One of the light-colored babes has my ladder down pat! The sweetie climbs up AND DOWN it perfectly! For a reward I usually let him have a little sip, until it's time to let him know that his Mama is up here for a reason!

Little Ratties (just like big ones) hardly do anything without a buddy. Guess what! The above babe talked this little guy into following him up! Once he got up there, though, I was nowhere to be found!

I do like my privacy!

Well, that's all for today. We almost didn't get pictures put up today because of Daddy's work schedule! Thank goodness he loves my babes - and saw how much trouble Mom was having with the webcam!
