On September 6th, mom found me at a pet shop (Petco) and decided to take me home with her. She tells everyone that she picked me because I was the most playful in the pen at the time, and she is allergic to the guinea pigs that were kept really close to me, so she kind of had to hurry. At the time I was playing with a male cinnamon rat. Mom suspects he's the reason I'm pregnant, but I'll never tell!

She did a really bad thing when she brought me home, though. She put me on Cedar Shavings!!! I sneezed and wheezed to let her know I didn't like the Cedar shavings. One morning I had her so worried about me, that she got on the internet and looked up "rat care" and immediately found out that rats and mice don't like Cedar shavings! They are toxic to us!

She felt horribly guilty when she realized what she'd done. She had always had put her rodents on Cedar shavings, and felt terrible about it. She immediately washed my pen, put in newspaper until the next day, and the first thing she did the next morning was to buy me some CareFRESH. I was happy. She said she was sorry about 100 times. I wasn't really mad at her, she didn't know. She also got me some medicine for my sneeze, and since she put it in yogurt, I forgave her. I just love strawberry yogurt!!!
