How to not get denied.
First: Listen to the Immortals. They're the bosses. It doesn't matter if you think you're right, or it's not fair. If they say be quiet, don't complain, don't yell, just calm down, e-mail Scorn and go to dairy-queen and buy yourself some Ice-cream
Secondly: Read the rules. Read them often. Make sure you understand all the rules, because the immortals won't take "I didn't know" for an excuse. It's not that they don't care about you, it's just that there are too many people willing to cheat if they can get away with it, and looking through a computer, they certainly can't tell the difference. So read the rules, and if you break one, just deal with the consequences. Most people never have a problem. I've gone over a year on DSL and more than that on other muds, and never had a problem.
Third: Watch your temper. Most people who get in big trouble did it because they just couldn't control themselves. If you feel yourself getting upset OOC about something, get everything you can together and just quit quickly as possible. You'll find later you'll be feeling much better after being away for awhile.. or perhaps play another character.. a non-clanner with no responsiblities other than to kill the next pilgrim.
